The Project

When Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport experienced a massive traffic surface failure, Torus Solutions surveyed the site and provided a clear framework to correct the issue without traffic interruption.

The Strategy

• Align the team (a diverse group of partners and DFW in-house engineers) from the beginning and spearheading early investigation and reporting
• Enact an innovative, leading edge approach to solving DFW’s surface failure issues
• Preserve project management flexibility, working through early material bugs and providing on-the-fly solutions to ensure project performance

The Results

• The project completed timely with material bugs resolved, and more importantly, with no major interruption to pedestrian or vehicular traffic
• Torus’ unique solution was subsequently bid on the four remaining major terminals
